Since Blondey and Kiana had a sleepover a few weeks ago and watched Sailor Moon together, I've been itching to draw them! Kiana is a huge Sailor Moon fan — but she's really embarrassed about it, so please don't tell anybody.

Sailor Moon is her favorite character (maybe because they look similar), and I figured that Blondey looks most like Venus and acts a bit ditzy like Minako, so they'd be a good match. ♥

Sailor Kiana Moon is holding a Moon Stick, while Sailor Blondey Venus is performing "Cherry Blossom Chain".

This started out as a traditional sketch, which I'm really enjoying doing a lot of the time. I was originally going to do it completely traditionally, but of course I made some mistakes in the sketch that would have been a pain to fix, and there were just too many details that it would have stressed me out to be unable to make mistakes. x3 And this way, I at least got to make sure that their bodies and clothing looked the same, instead of disproportionate and off-center on one (as I have a habit of doing).

I really want to start putting a logo or watermark on my stuff. Probably a logo. I need to come up with one.

My username is just... too long to conveniently make a logo. I made one when I first created this account... cupcake-kitty-chan.deviantart.… big load of fail, hahahaha.

I am really, really happy with this whole thing ;u; Except I could probably have found a better way to do the cherry blossom chain.

And now that it is again 3:30 AM, and I have to shower ~~even though I'm scared because I'm home alone~~ and get up by 11:45 to have a 9-10 hour day, I shall say good-bye for now.
